This blog is about a 33 and 43 year old who became pregnant after two IVF cycles. We made many protocol and lifestyle changes with our second IVF you can read about on the sidebar. While we are basking in the hope of meeting our baby, our feet are planted firmly on infertile ground. Through surgeries, a DOR diagnosis, losing six embryos, and the miscarriage of a twin... if your life is still revolving around vials and needles... we hope to share our success story with you.

Giving Thanks and 24w Belly Shots

Michael and I just returned from a 12 hour drive home from Tennessee and North Carolina.  There are two suitcases full of clothes and goodies in the kitchen, yet I can only muster the energy to download pictures from the week and share them with you.  Above is a picture taken in front of a local aquarium in Tennessee.

Below is a picture of me in front of the first home in Gatlin.burg.  The hubs and I had a do-it-yourself photo shoot here.

On Thanksgiving Day, we drove to Ashe.ville, North Carolina to see Biltmore.
My favorite childhood vacations were here, so it was nice to be back there "with child."

The day after Thanksgiving, we walked the streets of Gatlinburg with my parents.  Ever the kind host, my Dad purchased Michael a super small Tote.s umbrella and me this hat to keep us more comfortable as we sloshed our way through the streets.  Not a small bump, huh?

Below is a picture of the creek that ran through our hotel complex.  It made the most beautiful, calming sound.  If it hadn't been so cold, I would have slept with the door open.

Michael and I took the Sky Lift up a mountain to look down on Gatlin.burg.
Here are some pics we took while sightseeing.
(Again I feel the need to point out that I am not short! I am 5'7", but Hubs is 6'7" and YES we're excited Kansas basketball has started again.  This March will be madness for sure!)

Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim His greatness.
Let the whole world know what he has done.

Ahhhh...you are so gorgeous! And fashionable. Can I tell you that I longingly wandered through the Target maternity section yesterday? I love the clothes. Dressing a belly bump is just plain fun. LOVE the Biltmore and Gatlinburg. We went to Gatlinburg for our honeymoon. It was the cheapest trip we could swing. And my bucket list includes a trip to The Biltmore at Christmas. That nursery is fabulous. Can you come decorate my guest room next? You know. When you have some free time. XOXOXOX
